'Longball' Vlooswyk
Lisa visited the Home of Golf during 2006 with her
father. On the first hole she managed to drive a ridiculously
obscene 340 yards, finishing 4-5 yards short of the
burn! Unfortunate then that the subsequent chip went
into the said burn!! Still, we did get away with a bogey
5.
A great days golf was had with Lisa and her father
which included a lot of laughs, some enormous drives
and a lasting friendship.
Lisa is the reigning 5-Time Canadian
Long Drive Champion with her longest drive in competition
being an astonishing 350 yards, 2 feet, 2 inches.

Inevitably we manage
to find our way into the most famous bunker in world
golf (perhaps by design some may say). I look on anxiously
though Lisa seems pretty focused and determined.
