Caddie Golf Tours: Shomaker Party 2007
The Shomaker Party arrived at St. Andrews to play the Old Course as we know it now and as it was played in the 'reverse' or a clockwise direction. The 17th green becomes the 1st hole then the 16th green becomes the 2nd, the 15th the 3rd and so on.
The event is held every year at the end of March and beginning of April over three days. The golf course was originally played in this manner during the 18th and 19th Centuries.
