Planning Your Trip

Choosing the courses you wish to play could possibly be the most difficult decision that the tour members will make. The historic golf courses of Scotland are difficult to resist but time may be against you playing them all within the limits of the tour. Here are five basic questions to consider:
1. Is the Old Course at St. Andrews a must play?
2. What golf courses should you play?
3. How long is the tour to last: a long weekend, one week, two weeks?
4. Accommodation decisions: is it Bed & Breakfast at a house/lodge or a Hotel with 3*,4* or 5* rating?
5. Self drive or guided with personalised driver?

Caddie Golf Tours can assist in getting secured Old Course tee times through our contact with the Old Course Experience (OCE) who have the exclusive rights to the tee times at St. Andrews. We receive a good discount from the OCE and pass this onto our clients. It is advised to plan well in advance with our application for tee times requiring to be submitted by October of the year prior to play.
We also have contracts and contacts with excellent hotels in Scotland, including the Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews and the Marine Hotel in Troon allied with Scotland's best vehicle hire company. The savings negotiated from these companies are passed directly to our clients.
Golf and fun are the base reasons
for your trip and Caddie Golf Tours wish
to assist you by ensuring you get to play the golf courses
in Scotland you want, with flexible tee times, where
possible but also get the opportunity to meet some of the
locals in the flesh, rather than through the windscreen
of a vehicle.

Your tour can comprise
playing at many of Scotland's great golf courses, but
will also allow time for camraderie with fellow players
at the 19th hole. Please contact Caddie Golf Tours for more information.
