Terms & Conditions

Unless otherwise stated in writing these Conditions shall override any Terms and Conditions stipulated, incorporated or referred to by the Client whether expressed or implied howsoever are excluded and hereby negated. No amendments to these Conditions are allowed save those agreed in writing by an authorised employee of Caddie Golf Tours.

The Contract

A contract shall be deemed to have been made between Caddie Golf Tours and the booking Client when the Client has confirmed requirements by letter or email and Caddie Golf Tours has accepted such a booking.

Payment, Cost and Amendment

A deposit, determined by Caddie Golf Tours, must be paid in advance to secure booking. This may be waived at Caddie Golf Tours discretion.

Final balance must be paid to Caddie Golf Tours no later than 12 weeks prior to the first day of the booked event.

All events and bookings quoted are payable in Great British Pounds sterling (GBP).

Golf course fees, prepayments and certain other deposits are regarded as non-refundable at any time unless through agreement with golf courses, accommodation and travel providers named in your golf tour.

An administration fee of 25 GBP will be charged per person per change to the itinerary once the deposit is made. All amendments are subject to availability and may incur extra charges.

The total cost of the tour is not guaranted until Caddie Golf Tours has received payment in full. We will endeavour to keep the Cost per Golfer as detailed on your itinerary at the time of reservation however the cost is subject to change (increase or decrease) as a result of currency or fuel price fluctuations.

Deposit payments from our Client are used to secure your bookings and with your final payment to complete outstanding balance for those remaining bookings.

Payment Method

The deposit and final balance payment may be paid by a credit card, direct bank transfer, bank draft, a cheque drawn on a UK bank or via PayPal.

Credit card transactions will incur a 3% credit card commission charge.

Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation of the booking by Caddie Golf Tours all deposits and payments will be refunded in full.

In the event of the Client wishing to cancel the booking this must be confirmed in writing to Caddie Golf Tours. On receipt of cancellation instruction the following charges will be applied:

Up to 12 weeks before the first day of the booked event – 50% deposit

Up to 10 weeks before the first day of the booked event - Full deposit

Less than 10 weeks before the first day of the booked event - Full deposit and the final balance

All cancellations are accepted at the sole discretion of Caddie Golf Tours.

Travel Insurance

Caddie Golf Tours recommend that any persons wishing to travel should arrange independent Travel Insurance which should be purchased in the country of your main residence and we advise that tour cancellation insurance be included.

Those travelling from the United States of America can access insurance companies from the US Travel Insurance Association via their web site at www.ustia.org.

Tee Times

All  Client participants must check in with the official starter, at respective courses, fifteen minutes before the allocated tee-off time. Failure to appear for allocated tee-off time shall render your right to play null and void. No alternative time shall be made available and Caddie Golf Tours takes no responsibilities whatsoever under such circumstances.

Golf Handicap Certificate

All golfers taking part in a golf itinerary must be in posession of their current Handicap Certificate from their home club. It must be noted that golf can be denied on failure to produce a current Handicap Certificate when asked to do so by the official starter of a golf courses in Scotland. The maximum handicap for Gentlemen and Ladies is 24 and 36 respectively at the majority of courses.

General

Caddie Golf Tours shall not be held liable for any omission by any person not employed directly by Caddie Golf Tours.

Caddie Golf Tours shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or expense caused by cancellation of the event because of 'force majeure' such as government action, strke, civil commotion, national disaster or other reasons beyond its control. In no circumstances shall Caddie Golf Tours be liable for any consequential loss or damage. In any event Caddie Golf Tours liability shall be limited to the cost of the hospitality package.

Caddie Golf Tours has no responsibility for any property or personal effects at any eveny locations.

This Contract is non-transferable and shall be governed by Scottish Law.
